These Terms are an agreement between you ("Traveller," "you") and The Atlas Experiences, a company registered in India, trading as The Atlas Experiences ("we," "us"). They apply to our website, our trips, our trip design services, and anything else we offer.
By booking a trip, joining a waitlist, or using our services, you're agreeing to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use our services.
The Atlas Experiences curates small-group trips and bespoke travel planning built around passions, tennis, padel, chess, food, diving, surfing, motorsport, and cultural festivals among others. Depending on the trip, we may organise it directly, work with independent suppliers, or act purely as a planner. We'll always make clear which applies on the trip page or booking confirmation.
You must be 18 or over to book, unless a trip is specifically designed for families, in which case we'll let you know separately. An enquiry or waitlist signup doesn't confirm a booking, a trip is only confirmed once we've sent written confirmation and received your payment. We reserve the right to decline a booking for safety, operational, or compliance reasons.
Trip prices include only what's listed on the trip page. Unless stated otherwise, they don't include flights, travel insurance, visas, vaccinations, optional extras, or personal expenses. Prices may be shown in GBP, USD, EUR, or another currency depending on the trip, and may change before your booking is confirmed due to supplier costs or currency fluctuations.
A deposit secures your place and is fully refundable within 24 hours of booking. After that, it's non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 45 days before departure, and we'll charge this automatically unless you've paid earlier. If a payment fails, we'll get in touch to sort it, but if it remains unpaid 5 days after the due date, we may cancel your booking.
If you use our trip design service, we'll build a personalised itinerary based on your preferences. A non-refundable design fee may apply once we've started the work, which can sometimes be credited toward a confirmed booking. These plans are recommendations, pricing and availability aren't guaranteed until a booking is confirmed.
If you cancel within 24 hours of booking, you'll get a full refund. More than 45 days before departure, you'll be refunded everything except your deposit. Within 45 days of departure, we're unable to offer a refund. If we cancel a trip, for example due to low enrolment or unforeseen circumstances, you'll receive a full refund of what you've paid us, though we can't cover costs you've already spent elsewhere, like flights or visas.
Our trips require a minimum number of guests to go ahead. If a trip doesn't reach that number, we may need to cancel or postpone it, in which case the refund terms above apply.
Travel doesn't always go to plan. We may need to adjust accommodation, activities, or schedules due to weather, safety, or supplier availability, we'll always aim to offer a comparable alternative.
If you can't make it, you can transfer your place to someone else with at least 30 days' notice, as long as they meet any requirements for that trip. A small admin fee may apply.
We work with trusted hotels, coaches, and activity providers, but they operate independently under their own terms. We're not liable for issues caused directly by a supplier.
We don't sell or arrange flights, domestic or international, as part of any trip. You're responsible for booking your own flights to and from the destination, and for making sure your travel dates line up with the trip's published start and end dates. We're not liable for flight delays, cancellations, missed connections, or fare changes.
You're responsible for having a valid passport, any visas, and any vaccinations required for the countries you'll be visiting. We're not liable for denied entry or travel disruption caused by missing or incorrect documentation.
Some of our trips involve physical activity, tennis, padel, diving, surfing, cycling, and similar, so it's important you're medically fit to take part. By booking, you're confirming this, and agreeing to let us know about any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations in advance, so we can plan your trip safely. We're not able to give medical advice, so if you have any health concerns, please check with a doctor before booking.
You're responsible for any medical costs you incur during your trip.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every trip, and require it for higher-risk activities like diving, surfing, or skiing. Your policy should cover medical treatment, emergency evacuation, cancellation, and the specific activities included in your trip. Arranging this is your responsibility.
We may take photos and videos during trips for marketing. By joining a trip, you're giving us permission to use any footage you appear in. If you'd rather not be included, just let us know before departure, though we can't guarantee you'll be fully excluded from group shots.

We're not liable for anything beyond what's required by law, our total liability for any trip is limited to the amount you paid us for it. We're not responsible for indirect losses, and nothing here limits liability where the law says it can't be limited, such as death or injury caused by our negligence.
We're not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or government action.

Please raise it with us as early as possible, ideally during the trip itself, so we can try to put things right. If it's not resolved, email us within 14 days of your trip ending and we'll do our best to sort it out. If we can't resolve something informally, either of us can refer the matter to arbitration in India under Indian law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of India, without affecting any consumer protections you may be entitled to where you live
