We understand that plans change. Here's everything you need to know about cancellations and refunds when booking a trip with The Atlas Experiences.
All cancellation requests must be sent to us in writing at info@theatlasexperiences.com. Your cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your written request.
A deposit is required to secure your place on a trip. It is fully refundable within 24 hours of booking. After that window, the deposit becomes non-refundable, even if you cancel before the final balance is due.
If we cancel a trip, for example because the minimum number of travellers hasn't been reached, or due to circumstances beyond our control, you'll receive a full refund of everything you've paid us, including your deposit.
We're not responsible for any costs you've incurred independently, such as flights, travel insurance, visas, or accommodation booked separately.
In case a trip requires a minimum of 5 confirmed guests to go ahead. If this isn't reached by 90 days before the departure date, we'll cancel the trip and refund everything you've paid in full, including your deposit.
In some circumstances, we may offer a credit note instead of a refund. Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, non-transferable, carry no cash value, and are subject to any price differences when applied to a new booking.
If you're unable to attend, you may transfer your place to someone else, provided you give us at least 30 days' notice and the replacement guest meets any trip-specific requirements. A small admin fee may apply.
Any non-refundable trip design or bespoke planning fees are clearly stated at the time of enquiry. These are not refundable once planning work has begun.
Email us at info@theatlasexperiences.com with your booking reference and the reason for cancellation. We'll confirm receipt and process your request within a reasonable time.
For any questions about a cancellation or refund, email us at info@theatlasexperiences.com and we'll get back to you as quickly as possible.
